CHALLENGE: To design and model a bridge that optimizes mass-load efficiency in a team of three.
FINAL MODEL:
TESTING RESULT: Final model was tested under Instron to determine failure load point and compared to the calculated theoretical value of the same.
PATHWAY TO SOLUTION: Solidworks Iterations
The first design was a simple truss bridge. Iterations on the number of trusses, truss structure, support structure under roadway, and roadway structure were all simulated.
